The MEET48 2026 Roadshow: A Case Study
The MEET48 2026 Roadshow launch event on December 26, 2025, took place at the Mayfield Hotel’s Mayfair Ballroom in Seoul, South Korea. The event was by invitation only, and the venue was filled with investors, developers, fans, and media alongside millions tuning in via online streaming for live segments like performances and handshakes by seven top idols.
The Problem
Amid the Korean enthusiasm for technology-related product launches and the viral takeoff of Meet48 for storing fan-made 3D avatars, music, AI and more on blockchain, the launch event was by invitation only. The organisers wanted to ensure that all admission was authorised and that, after appropriate checks, attendees were given any guidance and assistance needed.
The Solution
We were contracted to provide four smartly presented, fully licensed security guards, bilingual in Korean and English. Their duties were to:
- Provide access control and checks to ensure that every admission is authorised
- Carry out general patrolling of the venue, ensuring that performers have the space they need
- Give general advice and assistance to attendees when asked
- Help clear the venue after the event has finished
The Outcome
The event was safe and successful, with our guards ensuring that it remained invite-only and that the media, fans and performers were aware that there was a reassuring security presence on site.
