Security Guarding for Amazon Retail and Distribution in Brazil
The Project
Global online retailer Amazon commissioned us to provide security for a major fibre optic cable installation project in Brazil. The operation involved safeguarding a range of high-value assets, including plant, cables, tools, and specialist equipment.
The Problem
Amazon requested protection during the construction of its underground fibre network. Theft, accidental damage, and external risks such as construction work or environmental impact were identified as security risks. Any theft or disruption could have resulted in service outages, project delays and considerable financial loss.
The Solution
Our security team in Brazil deployed and monitored advanced proximity alarm systems at key points along the route, with static and mobile security teams standing by, ready to respond to unusual activity or excessive vibrations.
